President captured by th RN in 1815 and copied as H.M.S. President of 1818. Sisters:- United States and President. Dimensions 173’ x 44’ x 14’ Armament 30 x 24 pdr cannon 22 x 12 pdr cannon ( as designed) 12 pdr cannon replaced in Constitution by 32 pdr carronades, and then in all three by 42 pdr carronades.
