Description - LA RÉGENERÉE FRENCH 12-pdr FRIGATE French 5th rate frigate laid down 1793. Captured 1801 and served in the Royal Navy as “Alexandrie”. Broken up in 1804. Other French 12 pdr frigates include Bravoure, Cocade, Patriote, Décade, Loire, Fidèle, Dédaigneuse, Franchise and Thémis. Armament 28 x 12 pdr cannon 14 x 6 pdr cannon (4 x 36 pdr carronades may have replaced 4 x 6 pdr). Colour Black sides with yellow strake along gundeck. Bulwarks – red.
