All passenger liner completed by Harland & Wolff
with her sister ship British Queen in 1881 for British
Shipowners. Both were chartered to the America Lines.
British King became the Dutch WERKENDAM in 1889
and was finally bought by the Chinese Eastern Railway
in 1900 and renamed HARBIN. She was scuttled by the
Russians at Port Arthur in 1904.
