& Wolff in Belfast, with her sister ship Arabic.

Both ships carried cattle as well as passengers, and
operated between San Francisco and Hong Kong, as well as in
the North Atlantic.. Coptic became the Pacific Mail ship “Pacific”
in 1907. Bought by the Toyo Kisen Kaisha line in 1915, as ”Persia
Maru”, she was scrapped in 1925. Arabic was sold to Holland America
line in 1890 and renamed Spaarndam before being scrapped in 1901
