5TH RATE 38 GUN FRIGATE RAZEE - 1795.
During the Napoleonic Wars both Britain & France cut down some older Ships of the Line to produce powerful "frigates", although some retained two gun decks. Not all were successful
but the conversion of three 64 gun vessels, Indefatigable,
Anson & Magnamine worked well. Originally
launched as a 64 in 1784, cut down to a frigate 1795.
