Description - French two seater Bi-plane first flew in 1921 and remained in service with the French Air Force until 1936. Over 1,100 aircraft were built for France, as both the A2 reconnaissance version and the B2 bomber version. In addition other operators included Poland, Serbia, Argentina, Belgium, Greece, Bolivia, China, Yugoslavia, Persia, and Spain. Several of these countries still operated the type at the outbreak of W.W.2. The type was continually fitted with higher powered engines until by 1934 a top speed of 174 m.p.h. had been reached.
