Description - WIBAULT 7 French all metal mono-plane fighter first flew in 1924 in prototype form, with production models entering service in 1926. 25 of this version were built, armed with 2 synchronised 7.7mm M.G.’s, and a further 60, designated Wibault 72, built with an additional two machine guns in the wings. These remained in service until 1936. A further version, the Wibault 74 served on the carrier Bearn until 1938. Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay purchased aircraft from France, and Poland built aircraft to this design under the designation P.Z.1. Vickers also obtained a licence for the aircraft and built a further 25 for Chile under the name Vickers 121. Maximum Speed 156 mph, Maximum Range 373 miles. Armament – 2 or 4 7.7mm machine guns
